Our School Day

Children complete 23 hours and 45 mins per week of directed time, compared to the national minimum recommended 21 hours for F/KS1 and 23 hours and 30 mins for KS2. It is important to note that the children from Class 1 have access to free play during the day, organised by the teaching and support staff, taking into consideration the age and needs of the children. Supervision of pupils officially begins at 8:40 a.m. and children are asked not to arrive unsupervised before this time. At the end of a school day it is the parents’ responsibility to supervise their children once the children have left the school buildings. |
Wraparound care is available from 8.00am to 5.30pm on Tues, Weds, Thurs, and 8.00am to 4:30pm on Mon and Fri. Please visit the Club section for more details of our wrap around care.
